FUNCTION ROOM AND TRAINING ROOM TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Rooms and facilities shall only be used for the purpose of in-company projects, in-house training programmes or meetings, such as business conference, AGMs, interview, board meeting, focus group, product exhibitions and press conference.
Full payment by cheque, Visa or MasterCard shall be made on or before the 30th day after the date of the contract, or the first date of room usage as stated on the contract, whichever is earlier.
If a written notice is received by the Association not less than 5 business days prior to the booked session, 30%of rental rates of the rooms not used will be charged. If the above requirement of notice is not fulfilled, total fees stated on the contract will be charged.
The duration of your use of our rooms and facilities must not exceed the booked session. Early access for set-up is subject to availability and confirmation by the Association and a room rental charge may apply.
The HKMA does not normally provide storage service. Temporary storage at the booked centre is allowed one hour before the booked session for room set-up purposes. Temporary storage earlier than one hour before the booked session is subject to availability of space and confirmation by the HKMA, and may incur extra charges. The HKMA will not be liable to any property loss or damage due to whatever reason in connection with the said temporary storage. You must advise the Association in advance of any materials to be temporarily stored and the delivery schedule.
No poster, advertisement or publication shall be displayed without the consent of the Association.
It shall be the responsibility of the hirer to use the rented premises and/or accessories in a careful and proper manner. The hirer is liable for any accident, injury, loss or damage which may occur during the rented period.
You are required to keep the rooms and facilities clean and in good condition; and adhere to established rules within the premises. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all areas within the premises according to Hong Kong Law.
If Typhoon Warning Signal No. 8, 9, 10 or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is in force within two hours prior to any booked session, that particular session will be cancelled. The booking of the affected session can be rescheduled within three months after the original date, subject to availability and confirmation by the Association, and no refund will be made by the Association. If Typhoon Warning Signal No. 8 or above is issued after the start of a booked session, the event must be terminated immediately. If Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is issued after the start of a booked session, you are advised to stay at our venue until it is safe to leave.
Rates are subject to change without prior notice.
The Association reserves the right to arbitrate the final decision should a dispute arise.
